"How you doing today, Halley?"
"Fantastic."
"You don't look like you mean it."
"Yeah, fantastic tinged with sweet-sour apathy, a note of charcoal despair and floral accents."
"If you ever write a book, I want to edit it. Seriously I'd love to live a day in your head."
"Imagine Alice in Wonderland but without the drugs."
"Let me know if you do write that book."
Sink in bewilderment. Cue gratitude. Relish appreciation.
My melt-in-your-mouth, effervescent, and bubbly soul coated with a thin crackly layer of prosaic skepticism was ESTEEMED.
COMMENCE SHOCKING EYE-OPENER.
My avant-garde, fireball, and irreverent personnalité was ADMIRED. In a corporate environment nonetheless!
Whew. That shit is astounding. Because if I, as a BRAZEN rabble-rouser can embolden someone to consider life from an outlandish perspective JUST BY BEING MYSELF.
Well, I shiver with anticipation for the UNVEILING of your noteworthy UNIQUITY.
Because sometimes if you stand out in a crowd it's not due to you not belonging; its because they're looking to you to LEAD THE UPRISING.
To UNFURL LIBERTY and ILLUMINATE HUMANITY in its GRANDEUR.
To show that you are a perfect gem of a human.
So make the time to savor your exceptional qualities.
You elevate all of us higher by being yourself.
Be yourself and UP-lift us.

YES! I love this!!! Time to lead the way, my friend!!
Ha - isn't it always to be yourself in the corporate work place? I don't know, it's like myself is no where close to appropriate enough, even knowing that at least half of the office has to be more batshit than me. Bailey sent me your way and love your blog already.

Welcome aboard, Alex! I feel the same way. Like I'm too much sometimes for normal life but that's kind of brilliant.
I need to sort that out. I'm hoping to move over to wordpress in next couple weeks and will def have it sorted on there.
I know that there are no coincidences. I'm glad I stumbled on your site at this point in my life. :)
